Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really legal?
Yes. Commission rebates are explicitly permitted under California Business and Professions Code §10137. Legal in 42 states and actively supported by the DOJ as pro-consumer competition policy.
Is the rebate taxable?
No. Per IRS PLR 157111-06, buyer rebates are a purchase price adjustment not income. No 1099 is issued. Consult your CPA for your specific situation.
What’s the catch?
There isn’t one. We earn money on our flat fee. We just don’t need 100% of a $30,000 commission to do excellent work and we pass the rest back to you.
Do I get less service?
No. Full broker representation from signed agreement through close of escrow offers, disclosures, negotiations, inspections, appraisal, and escrow coordination.
Can I call or text?
